Q: How do I carry my wine and other goods?

A: We have panniers available to carry your personal items and goods purchased along the way. Most wineries will ship your wine orders for you. Alternatively, a free pick up is included with all full day hires. Our vehicle can collect your purchases before it collects you and the bike.

Q: How far is it to the wineries?

A: Depending on where you start from of course, there are wineries within a few kilometres of the centre of town. You choose how far you want to ride. We can certainly assist you with recommending routes and distances etc.

Q: What else is there besides wineries?

A: The region has many fabulous things on offer. You can sample local produce like cheese, olives, fudge and chilies. There are quirky antique stores, recycled and up-cycled shops to explore. There is hand-made goats milk soaps to try, pubs, breweries, cafes, restaurants, bush walks, shows and of course the best cycling tours ever (we think!). There is so much to do on the Granite Belt you won't fit it all into one weekend.

Q: I've booked a bike, what happens now?

A: You will receive a confirmation email once we have checked the sizing and availability that you have requested. We will then deliver the bike/s to you on the morning of the start of the hire period. Each rider will be required to sign a waiver. A security deposit will be taken for each bike ($300 per bike), please ensure your credit card can accept this amount. The security deposit will only be charged to your account if the bike/s are not returned or returned in an unusable state (see full Terms and Conditions). We will then fit you with an Australian Standard helmet, do a pre-ride bike check, demonstrate the general use of the bike and ensure any questions you have are answered before you set off.

Q: I’ve booked a bike but now can’t make it on that day. What should I do?

A: If you have booked a bike and no longer wish to take the bike/s out, please let us know as soon as possible so that someone else may benefit. We have a limited number of bicycles and would appreciate your assistance with this. Please see our Cancellation Policy if you have made payment.

Q: Do I have to wear a helmet?

A: Yes. At all times when you are cycling you must wear a helmet. No exceptions. Please see Queensland Bicycle road rules and NSW Bicycle road rules.

Q: What if I get a flat tyre?

A: All our bikes have Flak Jacket puncture protection tyres. In the unlikely event you do puncture there is a puncture repair kit on board. If you prefer that we repair the puncture please call us and we will be happy to come and get you going again.

Q: What if the bike has a mechanical failure?

A: All bikes are checked daily before they go out, however, should there be a mechanical failure, please call us and we will deliver a replacement bike to you.

Q: Can I bring my own bike for the half day and full day tours?

A: Yes that's fine. As long as your bike is suitable for the terrain you are more than welcome.

The weather looks questionable.

Remember to bring suitable clothing for all types of weather. Winter months in the Granite Belt region (June, July, August) tend to have less rainfall than the other seasons, however, it is colder. You may like to check the weather forecast before you come. Panniers are available to carry a change of clothes with you for when you get to your destination. All FULL day hires have one free pick up included. Should you wish to cancel a bike you have booked please contact us as soon as possible. Unfortunately there are no refunds for bad weather or if you return the bike early.
